It is with much excitement and enthusiasm that we announce the inaugural Southern African School Photography Conference.

We’ll be hosting both international and local speakers who will share their unique knowledge, experience and perspectives on the school and school sport photography industry (known internationally as “Volume Photography”)
What’s our industry all about?
At its heart, school photography is about capturing and preserving moments in a child’s life, offering parents a choice of expression, pose and products that beautifully showcase these moments, all while enhancing the image, experience and marketability of the schools we work with.
Who’s hosting?
We are a collection of colleagues from around the world that have collaborated with one another on numerous projects, either for our own businesses or for industry enhancement at large.
This exceptionally high caliber of confirmed speakers bring to this event a depth of knowledge that is astoundingly diverse but equally so targeted and specific to our school photography industry.
We have a major internationally proven and utilised school / volume photography software and workflow solutions business present, represented by Harri Olkinuora of Norway, we are also hosting Glen Nelson who is relentless in his support and help for volume photographers, not only in Australia but world wide, his purpose built production and print fulfilment business supports school photographers around Australia. That covers the backend success of the school photography world, but we haven’t stopped there, we are delighted to be hosting three school photographers from three difference parts of the world, a 40 year veteran in Andy Molloy from UK and Spain, a seasoned professional photographer who has recently scaled his school photography business exponentially from Australia we welcome Leigh Woolford and the charismatic Marcelo Alvarado from Chile who after retiring from luxury cruise liner entertainment established the fastest growing and most advanced Chilean school photography business.
In addition to these exceptional speakers we’ll be presenting hands on practical demonstrations, networking opportunities and amazingly we’ll have global perspectives from video contributors that span our industries requirements, these will include online solutions, lab approaches, photography skills and techniques, and even our personal favorite – ways to unite the industry and establish a forum that will help us to enhance the industry through mutual respect, kindness and ethical business practices.
